Mallory Winston is a wealthy teenage girl next in line for the family inheritance. Her governess is concerned for her life because her family members are suddenly dying under unusual circumstances. This concern leads the governess to hire Percival Calendar to solve the crime.
The problem for Percy is that the murders seem totally random and don’t necessarily involve those next in line for the inheritance. Further complicating matters is the varying degrees of professionalism in these murder attempts.
Percy will need the help of his daughter Cryllin, and of course the scientific genius of his friend Baldo. But unless he can make a connection among the murders, this may be too complicated of a crime to solve even for the clever and pragmatic Percival Calendar.

All Percival Calendar has to do is escort his beautiful artist girlfriend to an exotic hotel for an awards convention honoring the best in the galaxy.
