Excerpts From the Novel:

Sheila appeared in the hallway, calling his name. “Oh thank God, I found you.”

He was stupefied, if not delighted. “You found me? What do you mean, you found me?”

“I’m rescuing you.”

“You? Rescuing me? How’s that possible?”

The first attack: Two monstrous pale green metallic legs crashed through the atrium ceiling, raining down splinters of glass on the frantic shoppers.  The giant humanoid shaped body had a polished head and wide muscular torso as it stood firmly planted on the cracked floor tiles below.  It began to shift its powerfully constructed torso from one side to the other.  It then swung out its long arms and ten fingered hands; scooping up fleeing shoppers and tossing them through the air like rag dolls.

An overwhelming enemy of the nastiest kind: They were about to exit the building when an exterior guard rammed up against the glass door with a small blubbery creature clinging to his head and neck.  The creature had four arms protruding from its undefined mass and a faceless head with a circular mouth at the top edge lined with dozens of razor sharp teeth.
